Touring Peabody Opera House renovation

So many people in St. Louis are eager to share their memories of Kiel Opera House, now called Peabody Opera House, whether it be the Rolling Stones' surprise concert in 1978 or the live televised Rat Pack show in 1965.
Today, I created my first opera house memory by getting a sneak peak at the $79 million renovations that are restoring the opera house to its original splendor of gold adornments, marble floors and ornate ceilings after sitting empty for 20 years.
