Internships
Internships are offered in a variety of areas within our organization. Our internship program is designed to provide exposure and experience of day to day activities associated with the Theatre & Entertainment industry. The internships offered over the course of a year vary but they all have the same core requirements.
Program Guidelines
- Internships are for college students (sophomore status and above or graduate level)
- All internships are unpaid
- Intern must provide own arrangements for living (if from out of the area)
- All interns are required to use Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis in Word and Excel
- Must possess strong communication (oral and written) skills
- Must demonstrate high degree of confidentiality
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Must send a cover letter and resume (and portfolio if necessary) to Human Resources Department for consideration.
- Must review employee handbook and sign acknowledgement form before beginning internship
- Must adhere to the policies and procedures set forth for Peabody Opera House Employees
- Internships do not guarantee full-time positions with Peabody Opera House upon completion
